I am an astrophysicist at the Observatory of Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France. I am interested in studying the formation and evolution of low-surface-brightness and low-luminosity galaxies, generally called “dwarf galaxies”, to understand the physics of the underlying dark matter within these systems. I use various observational facilities on the ground and in space for my research. Furthermore, I am interested in data-driven astronomy, astronomical data science and space safety.

I have done my pre-doctoral studies in engineering and astronomy in Tehran, my hometown in Iran. I received my PhD at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands in 2022. Currently, I am a CNES postdoctoral Fellow at the Observatory of Strasbourg.
